wire-desktop-forensic is free, open-source software provided under the Apache License 2.0.

As-is, no warranty. The software is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. See the LICENSE for the full disclaimer.
Forensic use. Output is investigative signal, not legal conclusion. Findings are observations ("consistent with"), and interpretation and validation are the examiner's responsibility.
No decryption of protected content. The software does not decrypt client-side-encrypted Wire message content and never fabricates plaintext for it. Lawful authority to examine any artifact is the user's responsibility.
Limitation of liability. In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of the software.
