timeglyph is released under the
Apache-2.0 Licence.
You are free to use, modify, and distribute the software subject to the licence
terms.
Acceptable use¶
timeglyph is designed for lawful digital forensics, incident response, and
timestamp analysis. You agree to use it only for purposes that are legal in your
jurisdiction.
Nature of the output — a reading, not a verdict¶
timeglyph reports interpretations that are consistent with one or more
timestamp formats, ranked and scored with their stated assumptions. A single raw
value is usually ambiguous. The output is investigative evidence to be weighed by
a qualified examiner — it is not a determination that a value "is" a
particular format or instant. You are responsible for the conclusions you draw.
No warranty¶
timeglyph is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or
implied. Security Ronin Ltd makes no representations regarding fitness for
evidentiary, legal, or regulatory purposes. Use in official proceedings is solely
at the user's discretion and risk.
Limitation of liability¶
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Security Ronin Ltd shall not be liable for
any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of
the use or inability to use timeglyph.
Changes¶
If these terms change materially, the effective date above will be updated and a note will appear in the release changelog.
