Privacy Policy¶

livedisk is an open-source Rust library that runs entirely on your own machine.

No data collection. The software does not transmit, upload, or share any data. Device listings and analysis results never leave your computer.
No telemetry. There is no analytics, crash reporting, phone-home, or network activity of any kind in the library.
No accounts. The software requires no registration, login, or API key.

Any devices you enumerate or analyse are read locally and the results are returned only to your own program. You are solely responsible for handling the evidence and reports you generate in accordance with your jurisdiction's laws and your engagement's chain-of-custody requirements.

This policy applies to the software as distributed via crates.io and GitHub. It does not cover forks or modified copies.
