Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-07-11 Product: blob-decoder CLI / library Operator: Security Ronin Ltd
Licence
blob-decoder is released under the
Apache-2.0 Licence.
You are free to use, modify, and distribute the software subject to the licence
terms.
Acceptable use
blob-decoder is designed for lawful digital forensics, incident response, and
data analysis. You agree to use it only for purposes that are legal in your
jurisdiction.
Nature of the output — a reading, not a verdict
blob-decoder reports interpretations that are consistent with one or more
blob formats, ranked and scored with a stated confidence. A blob is often
underdetermined (bytes that are valid hex are frequently also valid base64). The
output is investigative evidence to be weighed by a qualified examiner — it is
not a determination that a value "is" a particular format.
No warranty
blob-decoder is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or
implied. Security Ronin Ltd makes no representations regarding fitness for
evidentiary, legal, or regulatory purposes.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Security Ronin Ltd shall not be liable for
any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of
the use or inability to use blob-decoder.
Changes
If these terms change materially, the effective date above will be updated and a note will appear in the release changelog.
