Licence¶
blazehash is released under the MIT Licence. You are free to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the software, subject to the licence terms.
Acceptable use¶
blazehash is designed for lawful digital forensics, incident response, and evidence integrity verification. You agree to use blazehash only for purposes that are legal in your jurisdiction.
Prohibited uses include but are not limited to:
- Hashing or accessing files, systems, or cloud storage without authorisation.
- Using the Google Drive integration to access accounts you do not own or have explicit permission to access.
- Any activity that violates applicable computer fraud, data protection, or privacy laws.
Google Drive integration¶
When you use blazehash gdrive auth login, you authenticate with Google under Google's Terms of Service and API Services User Data Policy. blazehash requests only the drive.readonly scope. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to access and hash the files in the Drive account you authenticate with.
No warranty¶
blazehash is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Security Ronin Ltd makes no representations regarding fitness for evidentiary, legal, or regulatory purposes. Use in official proceedings is solely at the user's discretion and risk.
Limitation of liability¶
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Security Ronin Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use blazehash.
Changes¶
If these terms change materially, the effective date above will be updated and a note will appear in the release changelog.
